An Edwardian silver teapot and cream jug.

Sheffield, 1905.
The tapering bodies repousse decorated with scrolling floral and foliate motifs, with vacant cartouches to sides, the teapot with mother-of-pearl finial to the hinged cover, teapot 13cm high, cream jug 9cm high (inc. handles).
Together with a group of silver, comprising: a Victorian christening set, Sheffield, 1841, Aaron Hadfield, the knife 18cm long (filled handle), the fork and spoon 15cm long; a Victorian shallow beaker with gadrooning to body, London, 1885, John Aldwinckle & Thomas Slater, with presentation engraving dated 1887, 6cm high; an Edwardian child's rattle with mother of pearl handle, Birmingham, 1902, Crisford & Norris, repousse decorated with scrolling foliate motifs, 13.5cm long (inc. handle); a small sugar caster, Birmingham, 1919, William Hutton & Sons, of octagonal baluster form, 12cm high; a cased set of cruets comprising mustard pot, salt cellar and pepper shaker, the mustard pot and salt cellar with spoon, Chester, 1938, S. Blanckensee & Son, with blue glass liners, the pepper shaker Birmingham, 1937, same maker, liner deficient; another condiment spoon, Sheffield, 1921, C. W. Fletcher & Son; and a teaspoon, Birmingham, 1912, Gorham Manufacturing Co., engraved with initials, 15cm long; together with a silver plated cream ladle, Sheffield, late 19th century, Jehoiada Alsop Rhodes & Barber, with twisted handle, 15cm long, total weighable silver approx. 31.6ozt (a lot)

Buyer's Premium
The buyer shall pay the hammer price together with a premium thereon of 26% up to £20,000 (31.2% inclusive of VAT), 25% from £20,001 - £500,000 (30% inclusive of VAT), 20% from £500,001 thereafter (24% inclusive of VAT). The premium price is subject to VAT at the standard rate.

VAT is not charged on the hammer price unless it is stated that there is 'VAT applicable on the hammer price at the end of the description. Buyer's premium is subject to VAT.(ARR) - ARTIST'S RESALE RIGHT
Qualifying living artists and the descendants of artists deceased within the last 70 years are entitled to receive a re-sale royalty each time their work is bought through an auction house or art market professional.
It applies to lots with hammer value over £1,000 as follows:
0 to £50,000 - 4%
£50,000.01 to £200,000 - 3%
£200,000.01 to £350,000 - 1%
£350,000.01 to £500,000 - 0.5%
Exceeding £500,000 - 0.25%
ARR is capped at £12,500

Export of goods
Buyers intending to export goods should ascertain whether an export licence is required before bidding.
