Islamic & Indian Art

Operating since 2014, Roseberys Islamic & Indian Art and Antiques department has established itself as a leading authority in hosting specialised sales for asian antiques.

Renowned for its expertise in original Indian art as well as Islamic and Chinese antiques, the department has gained a remarkable reputation over the years. As a testament to its excellence, the department was twice granted the prestigious Asian Art in London Award for an Outstanding Indian and Islamic Work of Art from an Auction House, both in 2020 and 2022.

This department's auctions offer a variety of items. These include metalwork, pottery, manuscripts, miniatures, glassware, decorative arts, stonework, paintings, and contemporary artistic creations.

Items from various regions, including North Africa, the Middle East, Southern Spain, Turkey, Central Asia, China, India, and Southeast Asia, can also be found at Roseberys auctions. We carefully track the origin and do thorough academic research for all our items, and this often translates to robust prices achieved in our recent sales.

Besides the two yearly auctions for Antiquities and Islamic Arts, the department is proud to hold the yearly Arts of India sale. The event showcases different classical Indian art forms. These include antiques of India such as sculptures, textiles, gold, silver artefacts, jewellery and miniatures, as well as paintings and modern and contemporary art by Indian artists.

At Roseberys, we strive to ensure that enthusiasts and collectors can always find valuable items which reflect the detailed beauty and cultural wealth of the culture they come from.

Roseberys Antiquities, Islamic & Indian Art department is a great place to explore and acquire unique pieces of oriental antiques. Whether you are a first time buyer or are looking to expand your collection, this department is the perfect destination.
