Role Overview: We are seeking a highly-motivated Digital Marketing & Design Assistant to join our dynamic team. This full-time position is ideal for a marketing or design graduate passionate about the arts and looking to develop a broad skill set in marketing within the fine art auction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Content Creation:

• Design visually compelling adverts for print publications and digital platforms.
• Plan and coordinate marketing photoshoots and work closely with photographers.
• Develop engaging social media content across Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn and Facebook.
• Produce video content tailored to various social media channels.
• Stay up to date with current digital marketing trends and best practices for content creation.

Administrative and Event Support:

• Provide general administrative support to the marketing team.
• Communicate marketing timelines and deadlines across all auction departments.
• Create visually compelling presentations and pitches for internal meetings, client proposals, and marketing campaigns.
• Compile marketing performance statistics.
• Track marketing budgets and produce accurate campaign expenditure summaries.
• Assist in organising and executing events related to auctions.

Email Marketing and Website support:

• Design and execute email campaigns using Mailchimp, as needed.
• Maintaining and updating the company website, ensuring compliance with SEO best practices, when required.

Skills & Qualifications:

• A degree in marketing, design or a related field.
• A keen eye for design and attention to detail is essential.
• Proficiency in Adobe Suite, particularly InDesign, is essential.
• Video editing skills are desirable.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Experience in social media planning, management and execution.
• Familiarity with Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads and Google Analytics is a plus.
• An interest in the arts preferred.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
