Roseberys’ first Design auction of the year on the 18th February boasts a diverse range of important works from 1860 to the present day. The sale features an extensive private collection of Venini figurines and glass, which has remained in private hands since the 1960s. Also on offer are beautiful and rare Arts & Crafts pieces by Liberty & Co., Heal’s, and Gordon Russell. Other highlights include a large and impressive tapestry by Jean Lurcat, studio glass by Sam Herman, furniture and lighting by Gio Ponti and Fontana Arte as well as a unique ‘Flintstone’ bench by Fernando and Humberto Campana.
