Peter completed a BA (Hons) in Fine Arts Valuation at Southampton Solent University and joined Roseberys in 2007 having previously worked in a large regional auction house. He was appointed to Roseberys board of Directors in 2013.

Peter heads up the Professional Services & Valuations team which provide a range of valuation services including probate, family division, insurance and auction valuations. Peter works with and is instrumental in developing and maintaining relationships with solicitors. Peters work takes him internationally to conduct valuations across European and the Far East.

Peter is one of Roseberys leading auctioneers, with hammer highlights including the Patrick Caulfield ‘Pony’ painting which he sold for £275,000 and a wonderful and important pearl pendant for £187,000.

Peter has a broad knowledge base and a wealth of experience valuing and selling items from a range of disciplines. He is regularly featured in BBC Homes & Antiques ‘Ask the Experts’ column.
Peter is an associate of the Society of Fine Art Auctioneers and Valuers.

Peter has a wide personal interest in watches, coins, Chinese and Japanese art, silver and British pottery.
