James is a graduate of both the University of Birmingham and the University of Cambridge, holding two degrees in Art History. He joined Roseberys London in October 2019 following two years’ experience as a saleroom porter and general cataloguer for a Birmingham auction house.

James co-ordinates the bi-monthly Traditional and Modern Home auctions, valuing and cataloguing a broad range of antiques, collectibles, and objects of vertu. James also assists with the Fine & Decorative specialist auctions, cataloguing primarily British and European ceramics and glass. However, he has never lost his interest in Italian and Northern European Renaissance Sculpture, the subject of his academic research.
