Nicole Schembre joins Rosebery’s as an Associate Specialist in Modern British and 20th Century art with over a decade of experience in the art world in Canada. She was previously at Canada’s oldest auction house, Waddington’s Auctioneers specialising in Canadian and Indigenous Art.

She graduated with an Honours degree in Art History from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, where she completed an internship at the Agnes Etherington Arts Centre, and studied in Venice. Schembre went on to work at one of Canada’s leading commercial art galleries as Director of Client Services and Exhibitions, travelling internationally for art fairs. Delving into another area of the art industry, Nicole worked for the museum industry’s leading collections management technology and software company, managing clients across North America. She recently completed the Sotheby’s Institute of Art London Art Business course with Distinction.
