Roseberys London’s latest Modern British & 20th Century Art auction (Tuesday 11 June) featured a brilliant range of rare artworks from the early 20th century all the way up to the present day.

"The most exciting aspect of the sale was the number of relatively new names or unusual works that made high prices. In particular, Aubrey Williams’s ‘Rastaman, 1970’ – a rare figurative work for the artist – making a new auction record for the artist, and extraordinary prices for fresh names Grace English, Nora Lucy Mowbray Cundell and Erna Hoppe-Kinross off low estimates. We also saw great prices for classic figures, such as Edward Seago, David Jones and Kyffin Williams." - William Summerfield, Roseberys’ Modern British & 20th Century Art specialist.
