The winter Fine & Decorative auction at Roseberys was led by a fine and rare Berlin Chinoiserie tapestry of ‘The Emperor’s Banquet’ from the Collection of George Farrow, that sold to an international buyer for £41,840.

A handsome pair of Regency mahogany bergère library armchairs realised a price of £17,056 and an impressive George III mahogany breakfront bookcase and a pair of terrestrial and celestial library globes by the prestigious Cary firm also commanded strong prices," commented Anna Evans, Associate Director & Head of Head of Furniture & Works of Art, Roseberys
