A Russian gilt-bronze and cloisonne enamel travelling icon, 1899-1908, maker's mark of Pavel Ovchinnikov, assay master and city marks indistinct, of rectangular form with shaped pediment, the icon depicting Saint George flanked by angels to the wings, the hinged doors enamelled inside and out, hinged catch and suspension ring, 19.2cm high, 27cm wide when open
