Roseberys are honoured to be selling works from the collection of Mary and Alan Hobart, founders of Pyms Gallery, including works by Sir William Orpen, Augustus John, William Crozier and Leonard Baskin alongside furniture, silver and decorative art pieces. Pyms Gallery was founded in 1975 by Alan and Mary Hobart and was highly influential in driving a reappraisal of early Modern Irish artists in London, and their private collection was the focus of a major exhibition at the Irish Museum of Modern Art in 2023.
